Brief: The challenge with this branding effort was capturing the diversity of the scientific disciplines associated with the group.
We struggled with finding unique imagery that was not associated with a specific biological discipline. Our exhaustive research showed that there is an abundance of imagery in the space relating to items in nature.
We decided to use images that represented the biology of the earth, using microscopic images from nature.
The second word in the word mark was flipped so the Vs would form the shape of a chromosome.
The mission of the society is to promote the study of evolutionary developmental biology in all organisms and provide a forum for establishing collaboration, communication and promoting education in the field of evolutionary developmental biology. The society welcomes scientists from all over the world who are interested in evolutionary developmental questions spanning all levels of biological diversity. Client: EvoDevo Pan-Am
