Brief:The challenge with this branding effort was capturing the diversity of the faculty who are part of The University of Alabama without using images of specific people from around campus.
We wanted to use imagery that was inclusive and represented all races, genders, religions, ages, and professions of faculty.
We used generic body types and faces leaving off specific facial features. We added clothing items to give the individual people character, using items seen on faculty across campus and in campus promotional materials and photos.
